David Snapp

Director of Marketing

As Director of Marketing, David acts as Project Manager for the organization’s Marketing, Branding and New Media initiatives. Works with the Chief Creative Officer and members of the Senior Staff to enhance and sustain the current brands of Charlotte Center City Partners and is responsible for managing all marketing initiatives to excellence.

Before joining CCCP, David was SVP of Design in the Marketing Department of the Hallmark Channels in Los Angeles. As a key member of the their senior marketing management team he contributed to the development of their global brand vision and marketing strategy resulting in the channel rocketed into the top ten only three years after its launch.

David began his career in Marketing, Branding and Design at WBTV, the CBS affiliate in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1998 he moved to Houston, Texas to work for the CBS affiliate, KHOU-TV as their Senior News Graphics Designer and was promoted to Art Director shortly after starting there. In 1991, he was recruited by Capitol Cities in Los Angeles as Creative Director for the ABC Video Design Group; an in-house production facility for the 10 ABC owned and operated stations.

He has just completed a renovation on a home in Charlotte’s Center City Historic District of 4th Ward where he resides with his two mixed-terrier rescue dogs…Maggie and Dawson. An animal rescue advocate, David volunteers time with The Rescue Train, a no-kill adoption organization that specializes in hard to place animals and The Humane Society of Charlotte. David is a graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts and Graphic Design.
