On February 3, 1959 a plane carrying Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper crashed in an Iowa cornfield. They say it was the day the music died, but the music lives on in this blazing tribute to these legends of rock n’ roll, which recreates the famous triple bill in a program that The Chicago Tribune calls “flawless.”
