Levine Center for the Arts
Levine Center for the Arts was developed initially as a public-private partnership between the City of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, The Leon Levine Foundation and Wachovia Corporation, now Wells Fargo. The development has become one of Charlotte’s premier destinations and is comprised of the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, the John S. and James L. Knight Theater and the Mint Museum Uptown. Also part of the development is the 48 floor office tower now home to Duke Energy’s corporate headquarters. For more information please visit LevineCenterArts.org.
