Duke Energy Center

The Duke Energy Center is the latest addition to Charlotte’s impressive skyline. The 48 story office tower was announced in 2004 as part of the adjacent cultural arts campus and opened in early 2010. The tower serves as the corporate headquarters for Duke Energy. It is a LEED Platinum building with innovative water and energy efficient design elements including a green roof. The facade incorporates an impressive system of programmable lights that are utilized for special shows and effects.
