Center City Development

Charlotte's Center City is a vibrant place. More than $6 billion dollars will be invested in Uptown and South End during this decade. Our Center is transforming from "just" a central business district into a thriving urban neighborhood and national destination.

We have four major office towers under construction, mid and high-rise condos as well as transit-oriented development with condos and apartments popping up along the LYNX Blue Line. We also have a growing list of tourism assets including the Wachovia Cultural Campus and the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
