WBT's Holiday On Ice

Holiday on Ice is everyone’s favorite Holiday Tradition. Returning to the Green in Uptown Charlotte, ice skating under the stars, drinking hot chocolate and celebrating the merriment of the holiday is the best way to bring families together this season. The rink this year will provide skaters almost 5000 square feet of ice-skating surface. Skating will cost $7.00 per person and $3.00 for skate rental. Season Passes are also available. Group events for outings, birthday party’s, holiday party’s or friendly get-togethers may be eligible for discounts.

Special events this year include Live shows with WBT Hosts, Skating with the Charlotte Checkers, Christmas Carolers, A Hand Bell Choir, Learn to Skate Nights, Premium Give Away Nights, Home School Day, a visit from Santa, and many more special events. Learn more at WBTHolidayOnIce.com.

Outdoor Ice Skating this year is made possible from our friends at Harris Teeter and Time Warner Cable. The rink opens to the public at 5:00pm, Wednesday, November 25th. Holiday on Ice celebrates its 6th year for the great Holiday Tradition. The Green Uptown is located at 435 S. Tryon Street. Media Parking is available on College Street across from the convention center for live shots and larger broadcast vehicles. Other media will receive a pass to park in the Green’s Parking Deck for Free.

Open Thanksgiving Day 5pm – 10pm, and the day after Thanksgiving 11am – 10pm. Standard hours of operation are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5pm – 10pm, Saturday 11am – 10pm and Sunday, 11am – 7pm. Extended hours begin December 19th.
