Caldwell Street Closure

The southbound lanes on North Caldwell Street between East Fifth Street and East Trade Street will close on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 6 a.m. and will re-open on Friday, Dec. 4 at 4 p.m. This closure is necessary for crane work on the Hotel Sierra building. Southbound detour will be right on North Davidson Street, right on East Trade Street and left onto North Caldwell Street.

CATS will NOT be affected.

Weather and unforeseen circumstances occasionally prevent work from being completed as scheduled, and make it unsafe to reopen lanes or streets when planned. When this occurs, City traffic engineers work directly with other City staff and contractors to resolve the situation as quickly as possible and reduce impacts to the traveling public.
