Mert's Heart & Soul Announces New Menu
James Bazzelle, owner and executive chef of Mert’s Heart and Soul, today announced that the restaurant has added the following new items to its award-winning menu:
- Roasted lamb chops - Jumbo chicken wings - Steamed cabbage - Black-eyed peas - Fried green tomatoes - Grilled salmon with Creole sauce or blackened seasoning - A southern sampler appetizer featuring fried green tomatoes, wings, salmon cakes, and cornbread - A soul sampler featuring ribs, buttermilk chicken tenders, soul rolls, and cornbread - And a BBQ ribs appetizer
All new items are available seven days a week during lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.
