Countdown to the Playoffs has "Bobcats on the Prowl"

Bobcats Sports & Entertainment (BSE) President and Chief Operating Officer Fred Whitfield announced today the organization has entered into marketing partnerships for the 2010 NBA Playoffs with Presbyterian Hospital, Budweiser, Kobalt Tools and McDonald’s, and unveiled a campaign around the theme "Bobcats on the Prowl" for this year’s postseason.

"Each of these four companies represents excellence, and excellence is what the playoffs are all about," said Whitfield.

The four presenting sponsors will be integrated into all team playoff related marketing efforts. "Bobcats on the Prowl" will also be featured on every giveaway item and on all playoff advertising including print, television, billboard and digital buys.

"Playoff basketball rewards the teams who are focused and aggressive, and ‘Bobcats on the Prowl’ speaks to bringing that kind of intensity to the court for every game of the postseason," added Whitfield.

Playoff tickets go on sale to the general public at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Tickets start at $12 and will be available online at bobcats.com, by phone at (704) BOBCATS and at the LifeLock Box Office at Time Warner Cable Arena.

Bobcats Sports & Entertainment operates the National Basketball Association's Charlotte Bobcats and the widely-acclaimed Time Warner Cable Arena located in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. The Bobcats began their sixth season of play in the NBA last October. Single game tickets for all remaining regular season home games are available now at bobcats.com or by calling (704) BOBCATS.
