Local Bookstores Help Public Libraries

This is the weekend when eighteen local book stores in Mecklenburg County will be helping to buy much-needed books and other needed items for your public library's collection.

If you've been thinking about buying a special gift, shopping early for the holidays or expanding your child's collection of favorite storybooks, now is the perfect opportunty to make that purchase even more meaningful.

How can you participate? Simply shop at the BookMark in Founders Hall between August 4 - 6 and ask that your purchase be used to help support libraries.
