Charlotte Rescue Mission Launches Thanksgiving Turkey Drive

Each Thanksgiving, Charlotte Rescue Mission opens its doors to all those seeking food, comfort and hope. The Mission served over 1,400 meals last year and numbers are expected to be the same or even greater this year. To be prepared, the Mission is asking for donations of frozen turkeys for our Thanksgiving Day community meal.

"Our goal is that all those who come to the Mission on Thanksgiving receive a hot meal and the hope of a new tomorrow from the troubles they are facing today," says Rev. Tony Marciano, Executive Director of the Charlotte Rescue Mission.

Donations can be dropped off at the Charlotte Rescue Mission located at Cedar and West First Street, diagonally opposite the Panther Practice Fields.
