RED F To Move Headquarters To Center City

North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue announced today that RED F Marketing and sister companies CustomerStream and Target Point will relocate their headquarters from SouthPark to a new location at 222 South Church Street, a 90,000 square foot office building in Uptown Charlotte. The expansion will create 60 new jobs at RED F and its sister companies.

The building will be renovated to a LEED certification level where the original character of the building will be highlighted, while more modern design and functional elements will be incorporated to help the building become part of the Envision: Charlotte smart grid system.

"We are thrilled with what this move means for the future growth of Red F and job creation for the region. Red F continues to be one of the most dynamic entrepreneurial companies in the area, and this new headquarters building will allow for tremendous future development," said Dan Roselli, President of RED F. "The support that we have received is a strong indication that the State and the region want growth companies like Red F to locate and develop their companies here."

"In particular, the move to uptown Charlotte is a great fit for Red F in terms of attracting world class talent to continue to fuel our future progress. We believe in Charlotte and the region as one of the most dynamic areas of the country in which to continue our growth."

"We applaud the decision by RED F to expand their corporate headquarters in Charlotte. Sara Garcés and Dan Roselli are respected leaders in the Charlotte entrepreneurial community and this move will serve as a catalyst to other entrepreneurs in Charlotte to grow their companies," said Bob Morgan, President of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.

Michael Smith, President and CEO of Charlotte Center City Partners commented, "We are thrilled to welcome RED F and the entrepreneurial spirit they bring to Uptown Charlotte. This company contributes to the diversity of our employment base with great new jobs in multi-faceted marketing and New Media. We're excited about the concept of their redesigned building at 222 S. Church and the impact it will have to create an active edge to our soon-to-be built Romare Bearden Park."

RED F is a full service marketing agency servicing Fortune 1000 clients (GEICO, United Health Group, Time Warner Cable, Sun Trust, TIAA-Cref, Macy’s, United Airlines). It is the 11th fastest growing Hispanic owned company in the United States. Five times the company has been ranked on the INC 500/5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States.

The project was made possible by a One North Carolina Fund Grant from the state. Mecklenburg County and the City of Charlotte are also expected to approve a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Business Investment Grant in support of the project. RED F selected the site in Charlotte after a very competitive process of evaluating sites in North Carolina and Lancaster County, South Carolina.

The Charlotte Chamber worked with the NC Department of Commerce, Charlotte Center City Partners, the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County on this project.
