Gold Rush Service Hours Extended for CIAA Tournament

The Gold Rush Circulator is a free hop-on hop-off Uptown shuttle service in Center City Charlotte. Service hours will be extended during the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) tournament to get attendees around the Uptown area.

The Red Line will operate on its regular schedule between Johnson C. Smith University and Central Piedmont Community College during the CIAA tournament. The Orange Line will operate on Mint Street and Stonewall Street providing service to the Westin Hotel and the Residence Inn. The Arena/Uptown Loop will operate with stops on Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) near the Hilton Garden Inn and on McDowell Street near the Blake Hotel.

The changes to the Orange Line and the Arena/Uptown Loop and Johnson C. Smith University service will start at noon on Wednesday, March 2nd, through Friday, March 4th and at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5th. The adjusted schedule will continue until 11:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, March 2nd and 3rd and until midnight Friday and Saturday, March 4th and 5th. The Arena/Uptown Loop will service Johnson C. Smith University at night and Saturday.
