Director of Marketing - Charlotte Center City Partners
The Director of Marketing for Charlotte Center City Partners acts as Project Manager for the organization’s marketing, brand and New Media initiatives. The Director of Marketing will work with the Chief Creative Officer and other members of the Senior Staff to enhance and sustain the current brands of Charlotte Center City Partners and will be responsible for managing all marketing initiatives to excellence, within deadline, on or under budget. We encourage and expect creativity, vision and leadership from all members of our team. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Brand Management Initiatives:
- Manage brand initiatives for Charlotte Center City Partners, Historic South End, Charlotte ArtsFest, Inc.
- Manage and coordinate Find Your Center brand through website, collateral materials, ads and coordination of events and partnerships.
- Work with management team to ensure brand messages are clearly articulated within all communications, partnership and sales materials.
Manage websites and new media:
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of website management through third-party website host and IT provider using cutting edge technology and industry best practices.
- Manage New Media Specialist to update content of websites and maintain consistent look, feel and functionality.
- Provide creative input inside of New Media platform.
- Coordinate design and distribution of all e-communications.
Design of Collateral and Ads:
- Manage design, placement and budgets for all advertising (print or electronic), printed materials, maps, brochures and/or informational flyers and calendars. A background in art direction, design, photography, video and/or web design or management is a plus.
Experience: At least 5 years of Agency or Corporate experience. This person needs experience in and a clear understanding of project management with branding, strategic planning and marketing using new media. This person needs a proven ability to work well with a team as well as a reliable self-starter with initiative who can manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
