Center City Vision Awards
The 2011 Vision Awards took place on April 14th at the Charlotte Convention Center. This year's Vision Award will honor the accomplishments of Andreas Bechtler.
Last year, we celebrated by honoring philanthropists Sandra and Leon Levine with the 2010 Vision Award, and recognized other winners including the Metropolitan development, the EpiCentre, Johnson & Wales University and Mr. K's Soft Serve Ice Cream.

Center City Green Market
The Center City Green Market is gearing up for its twelfth season! The market will run Mother's Day through Labor Day. As always, the key ingredients include a selection of fresh local produce, fresh fish from the Carolina coast and beyond, homemade goodies, sauces, local honey and more!

Holidays in the City is a celebration of the season in Charlotte's Center City. Events kick-off on Thanksgiving Day and culminate on New Year's Eve.

First Night Charlotte
First Night is a community celebration of the New Year through the arts. It is an alcohol-free, public festival that marks the passage from the old year to the new with art, ritual and festivity. First Night offers a wide variety of artists with a broad range of appeal. Performances are held in both indoor and outdoor venues in close proximity to each other.
From 3:00 p.m. until midnight on December 31st, you’ll find musicians, dancers, actors and artists in the heart of Uptown, welcoming everyone to take part in the family-friendly festivities.
