We often have a misguided sense of what makes us happy. We tend to think that buying the house, getting the job, or finding “the one” will transform us. However, there is a growing science on happiness and well-being that suggests engaging in simple practices. Join Dr. Dawn Chanland to explore those practices together. We will also discuss how to heighten the well-being of your teams and those around you in the workplace.
Dr. Dawn E. Chanland is an associate professor of management and teaches in the McColl School of Business undergraduate, MBA, and MS in Organization Development. Dr. Chanland has published numerous pieces in leading academic journals and her research has been featured in the Wall Street Journal. Her expertise in mentoring, job search, executive coaching and management issues has been tapped by reporters at the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Forbes, AOL, CareerBuilder, and MSN, as well as several television news outlets.
