Grand Opening Celebration May 7 at McCormick and Schmick’s Seafood and Steaks

The Carolinas’ original concierge medical practice is proud to announce the grand opening of their new location in uptown Charlotte at 200 S. Tryon St. which will be its second location. A grand opening celebration will be held on Wed. May 7 at McCormick and Schmick’s Seafood and Steaks, 200 S. Tryon St., from 4:30 pm. to 7:30 p.m. Tours of the new facility, located on the 15th floor in the same building, will be offered during the event. The event is open to prospective clients, both individuals and corporate. Its current headquarters and main clinic in SouthPark at 6115 Park S. Dr. will remain open.

The practice opened the uptown location the week of April 21 with more than 3,676 square-feet of office space. The new full-service, state-of-the-art facility will provide personalized preventive care, X-Rays, emergency care, gynecological care, with an emphasis on corporate wellness and executive physicals. Signature Healthcare guarantees a maximum patient panel per physician   of 350, which is one tenth of industry average of 3,000-4,000 patients per primary care practitioner. A low patient-to-doctor ratio is the foundation of the practice, allowing time to learn the details of a patient’s history, focus on prevention and provide convenient care when needed.

“Since opening the SouthPark location over ten years ago, we’ve built a loyal following and incredible relationships with our patients,” said Dr. Jordan Lipton, co-founder and physician at Signature Healthcare. “By adding this convenient uptown location, we believe this is a great opportunity to better serve the executive who works uptown and serve more patients further north into the Lake Norman area.”

The physicians will see patients at both locations so continuity of care is guaranteed.

“Keeping people healthy and driving down healthcare costs for corporations through high-quality preventive medicine is very important to us,” remarked Jeannette Anselmo, executive director at Signature Healthcare. “We believe this location will encourage more executives to concentrate on their well-being, and be more convenient for them, which will ultimately make them more productive and ultimately provide value to the employer.”

By paying a low fixed annual fee, patients are treated by physicians who have sufficient time to devote to their patients whether treating preventively or for a medical issue, whether in person, by phone, or even via email when appropriate. This increased attention per patient stems from the lower doctor: patient ratio (1:350) at Signature Healthcare.

“We are pleased to welcome Signature Healthcare to uptown Charlotte,” said Michael Smith, president & CEO of Charlotte Center City Partners. “This new concierge medical facility is a welcome addition for the over 100,000 time-stretched professionals and 15,500 residents in Uptown.”

The practice chose the uptown location to serve as a full service healthcare provider for the corporate community. Their focus is providing premier healthcare that is convenient and helps executives take care of themselves and “get back to work”. Signature Healthcare offers organizational discounts for corporations who want to offer superior healthcare. The organization chose a location that is centrally located between the core of Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Duke Energy campuses to ensure it was easy walking distance to major employers. Kristy Venning and B.Reed Griffith of Brackett Flagship represented Signature Healthcare in the lease.

The grand opening celebration is open to the public with reservations to, or media can RSVP to
