The Holidays are officially upon us! That means there are plenty of events in Charlotte’s center city to take part in. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered on all the great events taking place. Holiday on Ice

Charlotte’s Only Outdoor Ice Rink returns to Uptown Charlotte at The Plaza at the Nascar Hall of Fame. Skating under the stars just got better with more than 7000 square feet of ice and an incredible view of the city skyline.

Lights on the Square: Uptown Tree Lighting

Holidays in the City festivities are here!  This free event uses holiday music, energetic entertainers, outdoor games, hundreds of lights, a giant tree and even the big man himself, Santa, to keep Charlotteans in the holiday mood.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra: “The Lost Christmas Eve”

Charlotte Symphony Pops: Magic of Christmas

The Friends of Fourth Ward Holiday Home Tour celebrates its 35th wonderful year with a three-day event showcasing the elegant Victorians, urban condominiums, cultural institutions and historic places for which Fourth Ward is famous – all dressed in their holiday finery.

Little Big Town at ACC Fanfest, present by AT&T

Acclaimed national recording group Little Big Town will headline the 2012 ACC FanFest presented by AT&T. In addition, CMA nominee Lee Brice will perform during the event. ACC FanFest is free to the public. The nationally acclaimed artists will perform live on the Dr Pepper Stage.

Saturday, December 1st, from noon to 7:00 p.m.

 

Jingle Bell Bash

This festive evening includes an open bar (beer & wine), heavy hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment from Soul Play and a silent auction that will help complete your holiday gift shopping.

Funds raised will benefit United Family Services.

The Market will celebrate the holiday season throughout November and December with the debut of the “Holidays in the City” Market.
