Newsrack Program

The City of Charlotte's newsrack ordinance allows for the installation of modular newsracks in Uptown on Tryon Street. A lottery and draft will be conducted to determine the allocation of spaces in this program.

Center City Food Truck Program

Charlotte Center City Partners administers the food truck program in Uptown and frequently curates food trucks for events throughout the Center City. We maintain a database of local food truck operators that meet permitting guidelines. Contact Jamie Hundley for more information about the program.
