Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Communications
As Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Communications for Charlotte Center City Partners, Moira oversees the daily operations of Center City Partners, including budgeting, facility operations, contracts, HR and CCCP’s contractual relationship with the City of Charlotte. She also oversees internal & external communications and media relations.

Moira’s background revolves primarily around media and management. During her career, she worked at WBTV as studio cameraman, news photographer, reporter, anchor, executive producer and host/producer of the nationally-syndicated show PM Magazine. She worked at WBT radio as morning show co-host and afternoon talk show host. During that tenure, Moira spent a few years as full-time mom to her two sons.

Moira is a graduate of Queens University of Charlotte where she is Trustee Emerita. She is past President of Temple Beth El and a member of the Charlotte Jewish Federation Community Relations Council. She is on the Boards of the May 20th Society and Carolinas Freedom Foundation and a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and Women Executives.

Moira has received the Maya Angelou Women Who Lead Award, Queens University’s Alumni of the Year, NAWBO of Charlotte’s Community Service Award, Irish Woman of the Year, Life in Charlotte’s Media Professional of the Year and Charlotte Jewish Federation Woman of Strength.

She has two sons and two grandchildren. Devin is Operations Manager at Fox Sports One in Charlotte. He and his wife Heidi are parents of Tori and Max. David is Business Development Leader at Avis Budget Group. His wife, Kate, is Asset Manager at Vision Ventures in Charlotte.
