On Monday, April 22, Charlotte City Council will vote on a new proposal to allow funding of public investment in improvements for Bank of America Stadium.

We at Charlotte Center City Partners endorse this revised proposal, which will ensure that the Carolina Panthers remain an asset for our community.

The Carolina Panthers are a proven investment for Charlotte and North Carolina and have made a positive and significant impact on the continued growth and development of the Charlotte region, particularly Uptown and South End. The requested improvements to the Stadium will provide improved facilities for college, youth and amateur sports tournaments that support the hospitality industry.

The Panthers generate more than $600-million annually in economic impact and nearly 5,000 jobs for our region. The team has provided family-oriented entertainment for the Charlotte region since the Stadium was completed in 1996.The Panthers contribute to stimulating and sustaining the economic prosperity, quality of life, and a vibrant future for our region.

Join us on Monday night at 7 p.m. We hope to fill the Chamber with supporters. Speakers will ask supporters to stand to show your support for the Carolina Panthers as an invaluable part of life in Charlotte.  We hope you will be among them.
