Charlotte B-cycle made possible by BlueCross and BlueShield of North Carolina is proud to announce that on Tuesday night, July 31, all 200 Charlotte B-cycle Trek bikes were ridden out from the Square to their 20 station docks and the Charlotte B-cycle system, made possible by BlueCross and BlueShield of North Carolina is live and ready for customers. It opened at 7:00am on Wednesday morning, August 1 with volunteers at each station, ready to help customers sign up and check out bikes.

It was an amazing sight to see all 200 bikes being ridden across the city to stations from JCSU, to South End and Elizabeth, to Carolinas Medical Center and Freedom Park plus the multitude of stations in Uptown including the 7th Street Public Market and the Square.

Charlotte B-cycle made possible by BlueCross and BlueShield of North Carolina, with Founding Sponsor Carolinas HealthCare System and Communications Sponsor Verizon Wireless is a program of the CCCP Community Trust.
