As Director of Programs and Events at Charlotte Center City Partners, Monica provides leadership and event support to the organization as a part of the annual program of work in Uptown and South End. She partners with individuals, businesses and other partner organizations as the Events Team works together to make Center City a memorable place for everyone. The Events Team produces a wide array of events and manages year-round programming within the district.

Monica is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Johnson & Wales University with a degree in Sports, Entertainment and Event Management. She is on the Board of Directors for the International Live Events Association Charlotte Chapter and is a graduate of the CBI Leadership Development Initiative. In addition to her role at Charlotte Center City Partners, Monica has over 12 years of experience with programs and events through various organizations.

Monica was born and raised in Greensboro and moved to Charlotte in 2006, where she lives with her husband and two young daughters.
