Chicago-based Riverside has nearly finished construction on phase one of a large mixed-use project linking South End and Uptown. Known as Queensbridge Collective, the development will feature an office tower and residential tower, 40,000 square feet of retail, and 1 acre of green outdoor space. Once complete, this project will be the tallest building outside of the Uptown central business district. Phase one will add 409 residential units to the area. A second phase recently broke ground, with a new tower split between office and residential, adding 304 apartments and 20,000 square feet of retail and bringing the total office space to 400,000 square feet.
