Hilton Hotels & Resorts has filed plans with the City of Charlotte to convert the majority of the 29-story First National Bank (FNB) tower, located between Bank of America Stadium and Truist Field, into a hotel under its "approachable lifestyle" Tempo brand. FNB is the only current office tenant and leases 46,000 square feet, or about 28% of the available office space. The remaining 114,000 square feet will become an unspecified number of hotel rooms.
