KHP Capital Partners is well underway on the conversion of the 100-year-old, 172,000-square-foot Johnston Building from an office building into a 245-room luxury boutique hotel. The new hotel will include a ground-floor restaurant and coffee shop, a 10,000-square-foot meeting room, a 3,500-square-foot ballroom, and a rooftop bar overlooking Romare Bearden Park. The hotel is expected to open in 2027.
