Chief of Staff
Adam Rhew is Chief of Staff for Charlotte Center City Partners, focused on project management and special initiatives. In this role, he serves as a counselor to the President and CEO and provides strategic communications leadership across the organization.
Adam has broad experience across media and public policy. Before being named to his current role, he was CCCP’s Director of Communications. A nationally published journalist, Adam served as the senior editor of Charlotte magazine, and has contributed writing or reporting to a wide range of outlets including GQ, the Washington Post, and Southern Living. Adam started his career as a political reporter and anchor for television and radio stations in North Carolina and Virginia.
Adam is currently earning his M.B.A. from Wake Forest University. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studied broadcast journalism and political science. He serves on the board for GenerationNation, is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, and has participated in the Community Building Initiative’s Leaders Under 40 program. Adam lives in Charlotte with his family.
