Executive Assistant to the CEO
Lu-Ann Barry joined Charlotte Center City Partners in April 2019 and is the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO. Lu-Ann’s experience is in project management, operations, and executive administrative support for companies such as McCann Erickson, Getty Images, Screenvision, and UTC Aerospace. She is a holder of the Project Management Plus Certification and a current candidate for the internationally recognized Project Management Professional certification.
In addition to her role at Center City Partners, Lu-Ann is an entrepreneur and is a known resource for small business coaching. Lu-Ann is the founder and president of The House of Enix (THOE). THOE, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is dedicated to fundraising and bringing awareness to the efforts of other non-profit organizations. THOE’s current initiatives include assisting the Charlotte Museum of History in its restoration of the Siloam Schoolhouse, one of the last free-standing African-American schoolhouses in Charlotte. Her community efforts have been featured in the Charlotte Post, Creative Loafing, and Charlotte-based Radio One stations.
She is a champion for small businesses and the Charlotte community and proud mother to her amazing children, Phoenix and Elijah.
