Megan Liddle Gude
Vice President, South End
Megan is a community builder, with experience in urban planning, facilitation, engagement, advocacy and placemaking. As VP for South End with Charlotte Center City Partners, Megan manages programs to activate public and private spaces, enhance public infrastructure, promote the neighborhood’s best attributes, and connect people and businesses.
Megan has been part of the Charlotte Center City Partners team since 2012. Before moving to Charlotte, she worked as a facilitator with the Institute for Engagement & Negotiation, building dialogue and consensus on topics in community health, racial equity, and rural economic revitalization. She also spent three years coordinating an international human rights coalition with the Rights and Resources Initiative in Washington, D.C.
Megan holds a Master of Urban & Environmental Planning degree from the University of Virginia, and a degree from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
She serves on the Board of Directors for the Community Building Initiative and is a graduate of the CBI Leadership Development Initiative, and the International Downtown Association’s Emerging Leaders Fellowship.
