White Lodging, the development group behind the JW Marriott in Uptown, filed a land development construction plan for a hotel on the 0.63-acre site at the corner of Bland and South Tryon Streets in late 2025. The project will include a ground-floor restaurant and an underground parking structure. No additional development figures are known at this time.
